however this is what we consider key. Email is from
2005, the photo of our basement wall below is dated July
2008.

custom home builder. We reported water problems with our
home 3months after closing to our home builder. |
February 2004 close on our brand new first owner Heartland Homes
home.
May 21 2004 water problems start in our cinder block basement
foundation.
May 21 2004 we notify Heartland Homes custom home builder of our
water problems.
We followed Heartland Homes' outlined warranty procedure to notify
Heartland Homes Warranty Department via email. We sent 12+ emails
with digital photos to Heartland Homes warranty dept. from May 2004
through September 2004. Every time we had water in our home, we
continued to notify our custom home builder Heartland Homes.

we filed our BBB (Better Business Bureau) complaint against
Heartland Homes, Marty Gillespie even visited our home. When you

after the current President of Heartland Homes Pittsburgh visited
our Castleview home.

Custom Home builder emails to us, the homeowners
during our 1st year period. This photo also shows our
letter from Heartland Homes Pittsburgh to the BBB (Better Business
Bureau) after Marty Gillespie visited our home to see the issues we
were having.
We notified our custom home builder Heartland Homes on the following
dates; May 21 2004, June 14 2004, June 17 2004, June
28 2004, July 5 2004 (pixs from June 28 2004), July 5 2004 (pixs
from June 29 2004), July 5 2004, July 16 2004, July 19, 2004 and
reported water problems. Most of our emails did contain digital
photos as well showing where the water problem areas were.

We feel
the Better Business Bureau (BBB) is a great resource tool.
The Pittsburgh BBB helped us immensely. You can search the BBB's
database that is constantly updated to see where businesses or
charities stand in regards to complaints filed, complaints resolved,
etc.
You even see a 36 month history for whomever you are searching on. A
great free resource tool to research almost any company.

only the the name of the business you would like to review in
Pittsburgh.
Simply input the Business name, click search and
view the results. A lot of folks are not aware of what
a powerful tool this is. Ideally you can research the internet, same
as reading through a Consumers Report before you consider buying. In
our opinion you can never have too much information.
